what were your parents doing in the 60s and 70s? Where they hippies? In Vietnam? Retro 50s throw backs? Mother Earth types? Living in a commune? Swingers? Children?

um in the 60s they were in school. The didnt graduate HS til 69. I'm not sure what exactly they were doing - but if you saw their pictures I definitly dont think they were hippies. They got married in like 72 and started a family almost immediatly.

Mine too... I think they got married in 67 and had me in 71.

I think they would have been 50's through backs if I imagine it.

Well, they were both born in 57 so they were kids in the 60's. In the 70's though....I could show you some funny pics if my scanner worked! My dad was a pot-head and my mom ironed her hair!

My parent's weren't born til 1956 and 1957. So they were kids. In the 60s my dad was in various foster homes. He was VERY poor and lived with people that beat him. My mom's parents are the Cleaver family. They always have been.

My mom was still a child. She was born in '57, so she was still very young. My dad was probably in Jr. high and High School. He was into racing cars and hunting and things.

My parents graduated high school in 1964 and got married in 1965 and they had me in 1969.

My parents came from a very small town. They married at 18 and 19 and my mother was pregnant with with me also. back then. Mom went to church each day before school because her mother made her. Dad was a farm boy or a dairy boy, whatever you want to call them.

My mom was born in 54 and my dad was born in 51.. so in the 60s they were still young..
My Mom was a total rocker.. and my dad was a pothead in the 70's.

In 73 my Mom had Andy and put him up for adoption.. and then in 74 my dad and his first wife had their son..

then in 80 my mom and dad hooked up and then i was born in 81

My dad was born in the mid 50's (not sure exactly) and my mom wasn't born until '59 so they were really young in the 60's. In the 70's they were both long haired hippies. I'm sure my dad was playing guitar and smoking pot and my mom had babies on her hips... and smoking pot.

My parents were in their 30's in the 60's (my mom had me in 1970 and she was 40 at the time). They were raising three children plus babysitting other people's children. My mom was a SAHM and my dad was a security guard at GE Lamp Plant here in St. Louis.

My mom graduated hs in 1960, I believe. She then moved to Atlanta from the north Georgia mountains and started going to business school. My dad should have graduated in 1962, but he quit school, went to school to become a barber and met my mom in 1961 not too long after she moved to Atlanta. They were married March 17, 1962 and had my sister on May 16, 1963. Then I arrived on December 14, 1969. So, I would say they were doing the family thing during the 1960's.

Late 60's my dad was in the Navy (so def. no hippie) and my mom was in college. They got married in 1970 and kind of look hippish in pics but most everyone did. My mom had the long straight hair but my dad still sported the military crew cut. Late 60's after getting out of the Navy he became a police officer adn after college my mom became a teacher. I was born in 1975.
