I just got a call from Darien's teacher!

It seems Darien dropped his pants in the gym today and was showing one of the girls his penis!

I just can't believe he did that. What in the world was he thinking?

I am so stunned right now I don't even know what to do. I think I will let DH handle this one.

I am also terribly embarrased and don't know what to say to this little girls parents. I know if some little boy showed Leah his Penis I'd be terrible upset.

Has this ever happened to any of you? If so, how did you handle it?

I also am trying to figure out if I've done something wrong to make him think it is OK to drop his pants at shcool. I'm just beside myself!

Lys has seen her cousin's cause his mom bathes them together.

I'm not sure what to do in your situation.

I think all boys are like that....things like that just don't phase them.. sorry i really don't know what to say on that ...

A little boy in Kimmy's preK-3 class did that! She came home and told me that Carl showed her his "weinie-tuttie"! I about had a heart attack! She still talks about it sometimes. I think it's just a normal kid thing. I would certainly not blame the kids parents...don't feel bad!

OK - I can laugh because it's not MY kid! I know my boys have no modesty whatsoever. I was really worried a few weeks ago when I had to take TJ to the doctor for a funky rash in a lovely place, especially since he had to see a female PA that day. Didn't phase the child one bit. He dropped his pants to his knees and stood there for 10 minutes like that.

Honestly, I woudn't think twice about it if I were the little girl's parents. Kids just do silly things like that at his age! Just think ... you can tell his high school sweetheart all about it!

I wouldn't worry too much. Chris did that once when he started preschool - he pulled his pants down, then ran around the room telling everyone to watch his peepee wiggle. Of course, I about died of embarassment when his teacher told me. But she said that it's fairly normal at that age. They're starting to notice things like that, and since it is so fascinating to them, they figure it must be pretty darn amazing to everyone else too. Actually it was the day Chris did that, I told him he couldn't do that, that some things are supposed to be kept private. A few minutes later, he wandered into the bathroom when I was in there. I hurried to get my pants up, but he saw my privates and all he had to say was " Mommy, you better go to the store and get a new peepee, cuz yours fell off." That was pretty histerical.

I do think its normal... Ryan is obsessed with his male organs ... and enjoys showing that and his butt off -

We explain to him that its private and not to do it in public, he gets the idea, but he still does some odd things once in a while ...

Thanks for all your input ladies! It makes me feel a little better.

DH talked to Darien about this on Friday night and Darien was really embarrased about it. He siad he would never so it again. We'll see!

I haven't talked to the girls parents yet since I got the call after school. I need to talke to the teacher and see if she talked to them yet so I know how to handle the situation.

I forgot to reply that I talked to the mom and apologized to her and had Darien apologize to the little girl.

The mom told me that the little girls cousin had done the same thing to her already. (Showed his penis to her) That poor girl!
