Announcing your pregnant

I need a fun idea on how to announce to our families that I am pregnant. I am already showing so it has to be a way to tell them right off the bat. We are going home for Christmas and will be telling them then. We need an idea that travels well since we are flying there.

hmm - When I knew around Xmas time we just told em (ok well we had JUST found out and KEv made comments all night about making sure I eat and I eat enough ..... My FIL caught on right away , my MIL was a little slow. )

For Kate I found out right around Easter. I made little baby easter baskets and put a bob and a toy in each one with a little card that announced it.

I'm not sure for Christmas what to do. I know tha ladies around here are GREAT at suggestions!

i'm lookin for some suggestions as well.

although i dont' think we are going to make it until christmas to tell my parents!

We found out I was pregnant right before my mother's birthday one year, so we gave her a card from us, a card from Joey, and a card from "Grandchild", saying something like "I look forward to meeting you in November" (when I was due).

Maybe a Christmas card?

What if you wore a shirt that had a cute pic of a baby on it and/or have the shirt say
"Hi Gramma and Grampa ! "

If you have a ultrasound pic, you could just put that in a christmas card.

If you already have a child, amke them a T-Shirt that says "I'm going to be a big brother / sister" - easy to do! Then just have the child wear it at a family gathering and wait for the reaction.

What I did was hand my parents a stack of photos to look thru - of a trip we had just taken. The last photo was of the positive pregnancy test
