How much do you budget to spend on Christmas gifts?

How much did you actually spend?

We budget $1000 and that includes our kids. We spent about $200 more than we were supposed to.

We buy around 20 gifts, not including our kids!

Next year we are drawing names...thank GOD!!

I like to spend $20.00 per person. This year I have to buy for 12 people. For 2 of the people...Eric's Aunts...I bought them throws which I got for $7.50 each.

I have spent a total of $216.00 on everyone's Christmas...including Elizabeth

my budget was around 200

we don't buy for many people, so far i have spent 72.

not counting the through the year buying though

I don't really budget. We just see and buy.

I spent about $200 last night and that was because I even bought laundry detergent, a new pair of gloves and a hat for matt.

I'm not done yet either..

Dylan has gotten:
new potty chair
Little Tykes Comfy Coupe
He likes baby dolls but I got hima big Grover doll from Sesame Street
2 DVD's of The Wiggles
i think thats it for him..

Austin's gotten:
more Magnetix
a TMNT movie
a couple TMNT action figures
home on the range dvd
some stocking stuffers
a Shark Tale Shark Attack game
I dunno.. doesn't seem like they've gotten much.

I'm stumped on what to get them for christmas! I was looking for a little like 'workshop; with tools for Dylan.. but they're all sold out everywhere.

We're only buying for Matt's mom & dad, and my BIL & SIL

we got logan a lil tools workbench thingy at cosco this summer.. i hope you find something for him!

We don't really budget either. We have 18 people that I do budget $40 each for their gifts .. then whatever the kids need and want.
