Funny mispronouncations

I just get so tickled at the way Payton says certain things. It took me WEEKS to figure out that YA YA meant princess. What Johnny and I find so cute is that she says her name as "MY YOU". If you say "Payton, you are a monkey!" she says "no I no monkey, I My You!"

What are some of the cute mispronouncations your toddler says?

And we play this word game and ask Payton to say all kinds of words. When you ask Payton to say Johnny she ALWAYS says Daddy but if you ask her to say Krista she says "ta-ta"

My son asked what the things below his "pistol" were, once, and I told him they were "testicles". He thought, then asked me what his "technicals" were for. I about died laughing. Gives a whole new meaning to "technical support" now, doesn't it.....

My sister used to do that.. I, being older, would encourage her to call people "truckers"... And somehow, I always got in trouble for it...

When my sister Briana was little (18 months or something) she heard my step mum call my dad a bastard so she started calling everyone a basket. Also when Briana was about the same age (maybe younger) whenever we put her down to bed at night she would say "one role" we had no idea what this meant and then we finally figured it out, she was saying "little while" coz she wanted someone to stay with her until she fell asleep. Can't wait 'til Hayley starts saying funny things, so far its just a few words like dad-dad etc and jibberish.

Judy, my boys used to call there testicles "tenticles"....as in "mommy these undies hurt my tenticles" one time in the dr.office.
Anna used to call dalmations "dalmaimitts" and Josh was worse cause he walked up to a man and ask him if he could pet his "damnation".

A little girl I used to watch couldn't say Bridget very well so she would say b*tchit....so her mom thought calling me Bridgie(Like Anna does) would be easier so I became B*tchy.

Jesse used to call boogies "booties"........so instead of picking his boogie he would say "I pick my booty"

Ryan has a hard time with some of his letters.... and he often talks about how he 'f*cks his fum' ........... drives me up a wall, and I have to question him sometimes... obviously ... he is telling me about how he SUCKS his THUMB....

When he was little the vacuum was the 'ba-boom'

He also started saying 'Damage' ... thinking he was saying 'damn it' ...

now he is smarter and isnt allowed to say butt-head, or stupid, and if he gets caught saying it and you ask him what he said - he will say he said 'dupid ... or gutt-head' ... we used to laugh ... but now we have to tell him he cant even say rhyming words!

Zachary is 4 and still has a few funny things he says. If he does something without any help, he did it "All my byself" and he hasn't figured out how to use conjuctions so he'll say something like "I'm cool, am I?"

When she wants to, my dd can speak quite clearly. However, she seldom wants to. When she was younger she called everything f*ck. It took us awhile to figure out what f*ucks were. They are all types of vechiles and water fowl. Now, she calls all vehicles trucks and she's doing considerably better with birds, of course, she adores birds.

It took us a long time to figure out what Kibble was. Kibble is careful. She hears that word a lot! And of course, she calls me Miss instead of mommy.

Last week we went to breakfast at IHOP and I told Brandon it was in the Kohl's Plaza. So on the way he says, how far away is Kohlslaw? I was like what?? and he repeated himself. I had to laugh as I asked if he meant Kohl's Plaza and he said yes.

I love listening to 2 yr olds speak. They say things so cute. My daughter doesn't say L's very well. So everything that should be said as an l, is said as a w. She also makes up names for things. Like the movie Madagascar, she calls racecar. She calls rags and things you wipe stuff up with (tissuesm paper towels) frags.

Aaron says "tit" for sit. He used to call hair "hore", so when he wanted to play with my hair, he would say, "I play mommy's hore." For what's that, he says "be at." He calls Bob the Builder, "Bob beeber."
