Nope. It's amazing what silence can do for a person.

Yep - my Christmas was pretty darn perfect too. The family was great. MIL got me this beautiful dish set with silver ware and glasses and my mom got us glasses and mugs too match the one MIL got us - it is so nice to have a full matching set of everything. We just had little mismatched odds and ends people gave us. Eric got me a really nice hair brush set, a make up kit in all my fave colors, and this gorgeous huge basket of bath stuff from Bath and Body Works. I got another basket of bath stuff from SIL. And a gorgeous sweater from my mom. The kids got soooo much stuff. My dad got them these cute little pop up play tents and mini Spiderman couches for in them. You can by tubes that zipper onto the houses to connect them and make crawl through stuff. Lots of play dough stuff - my dad got them a play dough activity table. They got so much stuff it's crazy....... and they were so very good. They listened so well waiting and taking turns opening presents everywhere we went.

I think I could honestly say this was the best Christmas I have ever had......

No family here so no family problems

My kids, hubby and I had a wonderful peaceful stress free day.

Of course, we had to see my FIL.

He decides to talk about how there is no Santa without looking to see that one of my 5 year olds is sitting in the room. (I don't know if Kevin heard him, he didn't say anything to me about it) I just stood up and left the room. Such an a$$, who doesn't look around first with a gaggle of kids running in and out of the house?!?!?!

Ugh! Dana - I would have flipping killed him.
I was so worried someone was going to slip up like that at our house. We had a ton of kids between the ages of 7-16. My kids are the only ones left who believe in Santa. I was going to kill one of THEM if they ruined it for them.

Surprisingly - I have NO complaints with the holiday & families this year. Usually - there is something. (Ha - usually there is MORE than one thing.) But this year - it all went pretty smoothly.

nope. It was a pretty good and fun Holiday this year! (other than Kev being sick - and sleeping a bunch.)

It was a pretty good year

the only glitch is that my brother and SIL were two hours late getting to my parents house for gift opening and dinner, it was hard to keep logan happy and not opening presents until they got there, they are always late for everything!

Real good Christmas here too. Loved my Dad's and step mom's place and the meals were real good. Enjoyed the visit.
