Zachary came out into the livingroom this morning after Shane took the tree outside and asked where his tree was. When I told him it got taken outside he asked why. I told him that Christmas is over and we don't need the tree again until next year. He looked kind of sad so I asked him if he had a good Christmas. He looked up at me all pouty and said "No, put it back". So I said "Didn't you get a lot of good presents and candy and have a good time?".
He got even more pitiful and said "Yes but you don't understand. Just nevermind!" and then he ran back to his room.
