Erics birthday is coming up soon, Feb 4th. He's gonnas be 30 and since thats kindof a special year MIL, SIL, and I wanna do do something big for him this year. We've got part of it figured out. As part of their present, Nic(SIL) is gonna keep the kids overnight and Sill(MIL) is sending Eric and me to a ski resort place overnight. And then they are going to have a surprise party set up and waiting when we get there to pick up the kids. The party itself is what we don't have figured out. None of us have any clue on what to do for the party, like what kinda party (a theme or whatever. ) The only thing we really have figured out right now is the guest list. It's gonna be small.

So 18 people including kids. His buddy Eric s is supposed to call me today while Eric is at work so we can try to work on it, he's in on it too. But I can definately use suggestions. He likes football and hocckey. A superbowl party was suggested but he prefers to watch games alone, especially important ones so he doesn't miss anything and can relax.He loves his work (carpentry) not the greatest theme for a party. I really am clueless - isn't it shameful?
