I think ept is 2 lines. Directions should be in the box.

Here's why I am comfused...

I took two really cheap tests from the Dollar store, and they both came back negative. I took one before the EPT, and another after... nothing.

Thanks a ton! That is exactly what I was looking for! So, in other words I should probably take another test in a couple of days to be positively sure.

The Dollar store test probably won't detect anything this early... therefore they were negative... and the EPT does detect earlier so therefore it's positive.

I certainly don't want to get my hopes up, so I will let you know in a couple of days! Thanks so much for the help!

My dr told me that it is VERY rare to ever have a false positive pregnancy test. If you have a line in each window then you are definitely preggos!

Ok I have already talked to my Dr. and she did say the same thing, what I am trying to figure out is if the test should have had a "+" sign because I only got 2 lines... which could have meant a negative...

I am stopping at the store after work, and I will take another test today! Wish me Luck!

the EPT's are two lines. they dont do the + sign. Thats what I have taken both times with my girls.

I don't remember if I took a test that read- "+" or "-". I will wait until Saturday. If by then I don't have AF I will try another test.

Usually with an EPT the first line tells you that did the test correctly and the second one (if there is a second one) means a positive test.

I belive with my EPT test it was two lines, the first line saying it was working then the second line came up to show you positive.

I did an ept test last time and it was + for pregnant and - for not pregnant.

EPT is straight lines. Fact Plus is a + or -. But, I'm pretty sure that EPT is straight lines.

Two lines means it's positive. Unless you buy a test that gives you a specific "+" or "-", most of them have the lines.

I can't stand the tests with the lines, but they are the cheapest. When I got pregnant this time, I bought 3 home tests in one night. The dumb lines were "iffy" to me, faint and whatnot, so finally I just went out and bought a digital, "+" or "-", no inbetweens. In the end, they were all positive.

I called EPT earlier today, and they said they have "+" or "-" I told the lady what my test looked like and she replied, "that means the test was 99% negative".
I will try again this weekend, if I don't AF by then.

I am confused cause earlier you stated that the test had a square and a round opening and that there was a line in each one. If thats the case - its positive. I even went and looked at the site Milly gave and it shows the same things and even states that one line shows the test worked and the other line shows your pregnant (as long as you read it within 20 minutes of taking the test. )

Either way I wish you luck!

ooh and I took 5 tests with my 2nd one cause I didnt believe em!
