Those are cute! Are these what you're doing for the kids, or what the kids are doing?

We used to do marble painting with our kids. We made the most adorable Valentine hearts. Use pink paper. Cut it in the shape of a heart. Put it in the bottom of a pan (like a cake pan). Put some red and white paint on top, and put a marble (we used a small bouncy ball) in the paint. Let the kids roll it around by shaking the pan. (You can also use a rubbermaid container with a lid, if you're worried about the paint getting everywhere.) It comes out looking like it's marble-like paper. It takes them a little while to dry, but they come out really cute.

That's cute!! To avoid the shipping costs you can buy the materials at a craft store.

Those are cute! Something similar we did that was easy for the little kids was to take a foam heart (the feet) and glue a pompom to it. Then we would attach google eyes and a little heart nose. Very simple... you can even purchase glue dots that you peel off plastic backing and the kids can "glue" themselves with no mess.

Yeah, I have loads of ideas. But it sounds like you've already got something figured out. If you need another easy craft I saw this one in family fun magazine this morning and it has the virtue of being super cheap.

Pixie Stick heart

Cut hearts out of construction paper.
Write message on heart.
Using a hole punch, punch holes on opposite sides of the heart
Thread pixie stick through the holes.
The finished product is a heart with a pixie stick arrow through it.

Cute ideas!

I saw that too, Grace, and am doing them with my DS for his class and for his basketball team since they have a game on Valentine's Day. The only difference is we're gonna use, I think, cow-tails instead of the pixie sticks. If they're too big for that, we're gonna glue two hearts together at the ends and put the cow-tail in the middle to look like a butterfly.

Me too! That's where I get the ideas for my kids birthday cakes a lot of the time. They have such neat ideas for crafts and stuff. I love them too!

I like DLTK and Enchanted Learning as well as Kids Domain (great coloring pages btw). I posted a set of links in Rainy Days, if anyone's interested it. It's the link right on top.
