Is it Thursday yet?

I'm so anxious to find out what my progesterone levels are!!! Is it Thursday afternoon yet?????

Did any of you get your progesterone level checked? I think they say if it is over 10 or 15 7dpo that it's pretty good.

I had mine checked, but I honestly don't remember the #'s. Also, my RE put me on progesterone 5 days after my LH surge, because extra progesterone doesn't hurt, low progesterone does. If your levels are low, by the time that they test and find out, it could be too late to do anything. I'm NOT saying that is the case with you, but that's my RE's way of doing things. Obviously he did a good job!

I, too, had mine checked, but I don't remember the numbers, either. Mine was so low, I had to do progesterone supplements to get pregnant and for about the first three months of my pregnancy, too.

Heather, I didn't read this until I posted, but that is the way it worked with me. I did the supplements for weeks before I had the intrauterine insemination done and then was on it for the first three months of my pregnancy.
And I feel the same way you do--my specialist was great!

Andrea - that cracked me up!!

I have prometrium at home (I think) and I think that is progesterone. Or was the progesterone you (Heather and Tammy) had the suppository kind? I'm so worried my levels are low and hope I can catch it in time if my levels are low. I wish they would let me test today instead since I'm 5dpo.

Cheryl-I know the feeling! My doc also gave me progesterone last time and this time just in case. This time it was my idea! I didn't want to take any chances and extra can't hurt. He likes the shots better b/c they can test those levels with a blod test more accurately. I had injections daily until about 12 weeks. The first 50 or so don't hurt a bit! Hehe...
