In Law's ever do something to the kids like get their haircut or dress them a certain way that you were not asked or told about?

No, I don't think so. MIL would not get Emily's hair cut without DH and me saying she could. As far as what clothes she puts her in, I don't think it would be a big deal even if it was something we didn't like.

NO! They would not see the children if they did something like that!

The worst things they do is like letting them have soda or candy even when mom says no.

Hell no, they aren't allowed to have the kids without Billy or me there. I would never leave my kids alone with them...

No. They might feed them something we wouldn't in between meals or something, but nothing important.

Haley had a babysitter who take it upon herself to cut her hair. It would make me so mad but I didn't know how to approach it being only 18 and her being a friend.

My kids have never had involved grandparents on their father's side.

No, MIL has only fed Brianna junk food when we wouldn't-no big deal.

Well lets see just a few things like telling my 1st grader there was no santa. Telling my daughter that they loved her more than DS. Buzzing Will nearly bald. Cutting Hannahs hair when she was 5 and it was almost to her butt up to the bottom of her ears. And the list goes on.

Nope. My kids don't see them all that often to have something like that happen. And when they do see them... they are too shy to do much. By the time they warm up... the inlaws are usually leaving.

OHHH - good topic!
My Daughter was going through some bowel issues, so my Ped wanted her on a strict bland diet for two weeks, so we could monitor what happened when we added certain foods back in to her diet.... My in laws wanted to take the kids for the afternoon - so I packed a lunch and a sippy cup with some bottled water for Lauren, along with a note of what she could NOT have (dairy and juice being one of these items)...I even went over the list with my FIL when he picked up the kids...
well when they dropped off the kids later that evening, Lauren had a happy meal toy from McD's, her lunch had not been touched, and she had apple juice in her sippy cup.
I was in such shock that they had completely ignored the list - not to mention the purpose of the diet!!
Then because I was so upset and angry, I waited until DH got home, and had him call his parents - - then his father had the nerve to call me later and tell me that my Ped was a quack and that McD's wouldnt cause laruen to have stomach problems!!! yeah, not really the point there big guy! UGH!!!!
