Lately, Emily has been asking questions like:
Mommy, why did God give us hands (or arms or feet or foreheads, etc.)?
So, I always answer with stuff like "so we can touch and hold things, etc.
Then later, I ask her, "Emily, why did God give us hands?" To see if she answers me back with what I told her.
So, one day she asked why God gave us noses.
I said, "So we can breathe and smell."
A day or two later I asked her why God gave us noses. Guess what she said?
"To pick!"
Last night we were asking her random questions, not ones we had ever discuseed, and I asked her these:
me: Why did God give us Nanas?
Emily: To have for our very own
me: Why did God give us Mommies?
Emily: To stay home with us.
