Justin in trouble at school again...

The past two days he has been in trouble at school for climbing and jumping off furniture. Ms Sara said while she changed diapers yesterday, which takes 45 minutes for everyone, she made Justin sit behind the counter with her because she was afraid he would hurt himself. His new thing is to climb on their heating unit in the class and jump off. It is a couple of feet tall. This kid is becoming such a trouble maker. I did have to laugh and tell her I was glad she was finally seeing this!!

At home, we have given up on trying to get him to stop doing this. He doesn't listen, thinks it's funny. So I figure when he falls, which at some point he will, he will either get hurt and learn, or decide it was fun to fall. What are you going to do??

My dd was the same way. Now she restricts most of her jumping to her bed and my bed. As for the climbing, we had to bunge cord wrap all her aids (some of her toys, the kitchen chairs) so she couldn't move them.

Why does my girl act like all the roughhousing boys?

He sounds like a normal little boy to me. I can't believe he would be in actual trouble for doing it. Maybe they should try giving him something to do instead of jumping if they don't like it.

Not that he got in "trouble" for it, but causing trouble I should say. He has plenty to do there, there are a ton of toys and books and stuff. But climbing is his new hobby.
