Hello everyone!

A little about myself. My name is Shawna, married to James, Army, stationed in Korea til April 2003. We have 2 children Chance, 11 and Tyra, 2 and baby # 3 is due to arrive in June. Just in time for Mid tour. We have relocated near my family and friends in Kansas til Dh returns and we find out where we will be going. Dh is a Apache Mech and I am a SAHM. Hope to get to know you all soon.

Hi Shawna, and welcome. My DH is army too. We are stationed at Ft Lewis WA. Bet you are looking forward to that mid tour visit...

I Shawna glad to have you aboard. I see your Baby #3 is due on my birthday. That's great. I hope DH gets to be there for the birth. Are you originally from Kansas? I'm from Missouri. I am in the National Guard but was prior service(Air Force). Can't wait to hear more about you and your family.

Dh is supposed to be home as long as I dont go early he will be here in time. His birthday is the 6th of June and he is praying that the baby will come on that day. My son and I are that close in birthdays as well Mine is the 5th of Sept and son is on the 7th. I am from Southeast Kansas born and raised here. When we got stationed at Ft. Bragg NC that was my first time away and thought I would never get thur it now I am home and wish I was back. How silly is that? I have one friend there I miss really bad but we keep in touch thur a online game and call so is not that bad I suppose. Thank you all for the warm welcome cant wait to chat more with you.

Hello..I know I have already welcomed you on the other board....
I am originally from Topeka, Kansas. I also lived in Dodge City. I have numerous family spread out all over the state! This is my first time away from my family. We have always been stationed near home. It is really hard being away. I am glad you are back home for your pregnancy. It helps being near family when dh can't be there. I went through the exact same thing last summer. It was really tough but I am proud of myself that I lived through it and at times I really miss it just being me and my son.
