Nighttime woes

Aaron is not bad at going to sleep after we put him to bed but for the last two months he has been getting up 2-4 times in the middle of the night, usually because he wants his blanket put on him (after he kicks it off in his sleep), and sometimes it's because he wants the hall light put back on (we leave it on when he sleeps but turn if off when we go to bed). We are not getting enough sleep because of this. He is still in a crib but cries and calls for us when he wants this help. What should I do?????

I don't know what to suggest as Brianna does this sometimes as well, though it isn't 2 to 4 times a night. I can imagine how frustrating and exhausting this must be to be happening every night, I hope somebody can give you a suggestion that helps.

Well last night we ignored it, hard as it was, though he cried and called for what seemed like an hour. Then not a peep after that until morning when he got up. I felt horrible but maybe tonight will be better. He wanted his Snoopy toy under the blanket. Sheesh!

Ours do this too sometimes. Although they are in beds, so we end up with the knocks on the door. Usually I just bring whoever in to our bed, so I don't have to get up. It doesn't happen but once every few weeks, so I figure what can it hurt. If he is getting cold, try the sleepers with footies and maybe that will help. Hopefully after last night it will get better.
