What brand do you have and what do you like about it? What do you dislike about it?

(I'm trying to find one for the baby. By the time he's 3 months or so, hopefully Lauren will be in a big girl bed. )

I had an OLD one (which I HATED). It was passed down through Dan's family.
Delaney was in it until she was 6 months old. I only moved her out when I was afraid she might pull herself up in it!!

Kim - mine was ancient. But there were a few things I didn't like about it. (I don't think you'll have these problems with the newer ones.)
But...
I think the spacing was too wide on the sides. I kept a crib bumper in mine for that reason. (Geez... writing that I feel like a bad mom. DH and I argued about that too.)
AND - mine rocked. Honestly - I didn't like that part of it. I was always afraid the dog was going to come up, put her big head over the top and tip the thing over. I had it wedged between my bed and the dresser so the dog couldn't move it.

I have one by Evenflo. I got it when I was pregnant with Austin, and used it only for a few weeks with him, and then we used it for about 5 weeks with Dylan.

I have a Graco one that someone gave me. It can rock or you can flip the feet down and lock it so that it is stable. I doubt I'll ever use the rocker for fear that it would get knocked over even though I'm sure they are designed to prevent that.

Mine was also one of the rocker ones, I can't quite remember the brand. But I loved that it came apart, the bed part I could bring into the living room so that she could sleep in there while I was busy out there. I never used the rocker, I was also worried that it would tip over, that she'd move around too much and tip it. She was about 5 months when we moved her to a crib.

We have an Arms Reach Co-sleeper. Not exactly a bassinet but we loved it.

I didn't get a bassinet but I have a co-sleeper, which I love. It butts right up to our bed and was so easy to get Justin in and out to feed.
