A plan?

Do you have a escape plan for in case of a fire in your house?

If I were to ask your kids today what would they tell me?

They know to run to the neighbor's house and get help, but there isn't a specific plan. Of course, being in a 1-story house and everyone sleeping on the same end of the house, it has never really occurred to me to have a real plan. Hmmm ...

They did a unit on Fire Safety earlier in the school year, and Joey and I went around the house and tested every smoke alarm (there are 7!). And he knows that if there's ever a fire, to get out of the house. We probably should invest in a escape ladder of some sort, seeing as how the bedrooms are upstairs...
