Bikers roll to military funerals to oppose anti-gay protests

Wearing vests covered in military patches, a band of motorcyclists rolls around the country from one soldier's funeral to another, cheering respectfully to overshadow jeers from church protesters.

I'd LOVE to run across some of these idiots protesting at a funeral! Somebody would end up in jail ... and I'd be willing to be it would be me!

They were at a funeral about 10 minutes from where Adam works....There were flyers everywhere and a bunch of the guys were going to go with the bikers. He brought home the flyer and it had the protestor's website on it. It is sick!!! I'm going to see if I can find it.

It is very sad that there are people in the world like this. If my husband would have died in Iraq, and they showed up at his funeral, I would have been in hysterics that they had the nerve to show up at a gathering for family and friends to say our goodbyes.

Oh that crazy Fred Phellps again. He did that in Topeka until they banded him from it. He came here and did that at the funeral of a gay murder victim. He didn't win any friends there either. I grew up hearing about that in the news everyday. When he protested at a chuch for allowing gays or having a funeral for a homesexual person, we all knew that was a good church. Some people never change.

I heard a report on this f'n idiot on NPR the other day....he and his batch of inbred loser kin went to the funeral of a 24 yo soldier who had been killed ON his 24th bday and were protesting because the solider had fought for his country, and the military now allows gays. Think about it...the solider was 24, had a 22 yo old wife and 2 small children, she's never gonna be held by her hubs again, the kids will never see their father again...yet this loser asshole is yelling crap at her that her loved one has gone to hell because of his service to his country....

If it was me, I'd have grabbed one of the guns used for the 21 gun salute and dropped his wothless ass ON THE SPOT!!
