I think it's good for kids to see their parents disagree and come to new solutions. It's part of a good relationship. They shouldn't ever see you really argue though, no screaming, swearing, blaming. The article makes sense it teaches your kids how a successful relationship works and they aren't always perfect all the time.

My parents never, ever argued in front of us. And I did grow up afraid of conflict. Those rules are hard to remember when you are angry, so I posted them in a couple of places in the apartment. I've also found that it's better to handle conflicts as they come up rather than letting them stew.
