Haven't done one of these in a while! How about a preschool check-in???

What has everyone been up to?

Age: 4

New food likes/dislikes? Recently decided he likes toast.

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? Just getting over pink eye and a cold. Doctor appointment for this month was cancelled because the doctor wasn’t available on the day they originally scheduled.

Any new interests? Really started being interested in playing with the cats lately. Wouldn’t pet them before because he didn’t like the feel of their fur. Also finger painting. He never really cared for the texture of paint before.

Latest accomplishments? Trying to sound out words. Spelling out words with his magnetic letters. Speaking much more clearly and talking more often. Will finally answer simple questions with a short answer or a “yes”/”no”. Really likes the word “no” a lot!

New food likes/dislikes? Still very, very picky. Tried canned pears and decided she likes them. She will finally eat chicken that does not come in nugget form.

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? Just got over being sick and on the way to being healthy.

Any new interests? This is not new but maddie really, really likes to draw and color. She will sit for hours and do this. She has made a new friend and her name is Abbie. They play so well together!

Latest accomplishments? She is learning how to subtract!

(Any birthdays this month???) Yup March 27th she'll be 4 already.....

New food likes/dislikes? She likes the fruit snakes, and she's been drinking milk more again.

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? She needs her shots for school the DR said she would break them up into two groups. She also has a sty on her right eye. It's been there since November. It went down but never totally ways. The Dr said when she got older they could remove it. They would flip the eye lid over and scrap the sty off. I'm going to post to see if anyone else ever had this. But it does get red and big. I don't like it.

Any new interests? She loves to watch Dragon Tales on PBS

Latest accomplishments? She is trying to tie her own shoe laces. She's still got a way to go, she knows her number and her ABC, Days for the week and months. She's getting so grown up.

New food likes/dislikes? Now wants her own sandwich when we eat at subway a Meatball sub.

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? nope!!!

Any new interests? -writing and learning who is who's mom/dad/sister/brother (ie- mammie is my mom, pappie is my dad, grandma is daddy's mom, etc)

Latest accomplishments? -She can write the letters, A,B,C,D,E,H,I,O,P,Y. I taught her a-c, and this new Vtech toy taught her to write the rest. She's not too interested in writting lowercase letters yet.

New food likes/dislikes? he is still hooked on chicken in all forms as long as it is not on the bone yougurt tubes are top on the list as well

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? nope just getting over the winter cold i hope

Any new interests? he is getting more and more into cars and trains, oh and coloring on my floors, hearth but not the walls yet

Latest accomplishments I think *hopefully* that we are daytime potty trained! he even got up from his nap today saying he had to poop and had a pull up on

New food likes/dislikes? nope - still as picky as ever

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? nope - we had the dentist last month and got a clean bill of health.

Any new interests? started back up swimming lessons

Latest accomplishments? ummm we are learning some simle math and how to spell some and she can count to 109 but can't visualize the numbers after 10 so we are working on that. and learning to spell words.

New food likes/dislikes? no, he is still the same picky kid.

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month? Nope

Any new interests? Numbers. He likes saying any number he sees, asking the time, and reading price tags at the grocery store. He forces me to go through each aisle by order of their numbers and not skip any. If I even try he throws a fit that you can't go to number 10 without going to number 9 first. Makes shopping interesting.

Latest accomplishments? Counting to 100! He needs help remembering "what comes after 19" as well as 50 but other than that he's got it. He thinks he counts to 1,000 too but he only says 100, 200, 300 and so on.
We have Kindergarten registration next week!

New food likes/dislikes? Orange Juice beats out anything - would drink it instead of eating if he could. Loves salmon, cod, chicken, asparagus ,,, HATES onions and peanut butter.

Any medical concerns? Doctor or dentist appointments this month?
Going to be tested for Celiac this month, Complains all the time thathis belly hurts, still has BM issues, I find that his stomach hurts after he eats foods rich in gluten, not just little things but foods that are REAL rich in it , could be nothing but who knows... trying to convince his pediatrician just to do the Celiac Panel for blood work to see if he carries the gene or not

Any new interests? Gymnastics, cartwheels -somersaults - balancing. Really into his little brother, loves to cook and bake

Latest accomplishments? Writes his name and Aidans name without looking or copying, able to read most letters, gets dressed every morning by himself, finished up Hockey for the season and got a trophy, Makes his own sandwiches , vaccuums the house , abides by his am and pm schedule - LOVES to do it all by himself and follow it to a tee!

Any new interests? She's taken a lot of interest in the computer lately, suddenly I have to share!

Latest accomplishments? Her writing is improving, and also her attitude is dissapearing, slowly but surely, thank goodness!!
