first visits to school

Our kindy's are all having this 'ready start learn' programs right now, where you bring in your pre kindy kids and intoduce them to the school that they will be attending.

Logan just turned three so he will not be starting Kindy until september of 08. I figured i would take him in the spring of 2008. One of the ladies i work with is a substitute kindy teacher and suggested that i take him this year. that it is never to early.

what do you think?

when did you take your preschoolers to be introduced to their future school?

Alyssa went a few weeks before she started Pre 3k. She will attend the same school and have the same teacher - so she wont really have any adjustment - other than going for a half a day and having to be at school at 7:45 am!

I don't have a child that age but I don't see any reason to introduce him 2 years before he'll be going. I think introducing him in the spring 2008 should be good.
