Wow, I'm impressed!!

I have been having a hard time getting the boys to do their chores the past couple of weeks. They would just go slow, and hang out. They are on spring break this week so I made a chore list that they are to do every morning. Then I made it a race to see who got done first. Everyone got a sucker for working but the winner got two. They were done with all chores in about 30 min. I usually have to ask for hours for them to get working.

AWESOME!!

We do something similar, I have a morning checklist and evening checklist, Ryan gets to checl it off as he goes along and it is a race, if it does it all inm the right amount of time he earns a quarter for each chore- he does GREAT! The one day I didnt have a copy printed ... he fell off the schedule- so it really helps!!

I also use this - I need to add more detailed times on but this really helps too- let me see if I can attach these and if you want I can email them to you separate so you can actually modify it-

Good ideas ladies! I need to do something like this too! I did it for Jessi at one point, but I slacked off and it's back to mayhem every morning. I'm finding Cody is getting more and more difficult to get out the door in the mornings too, so it looks like I need to do one for each of them!

Can you email it to me as well? I'm open to try ANYTHING to make the mornings a bit less hactic.

No problem! I already sent out Lenora's and Tara's ... if you want it just PM me your email address and I will send it over!

Glad to help! I just knew I had to make it fun, but at the same time make him FEEL responsible and he likes that!

Yay! They did a great job!

Those lists are fun, but I would be worried that my kids would be too dependant on a list or something to follow? Maybe that's just me

We have schedule and chores which they do but they tend to require me to be with them. I don't mind though, we do a lot of chores together.
