After Easter Baskets...

do your kids (who are old enough) get a free period where they can haul their candy around and eat it at will or do you imediately confiscate most of it and dole it out a piece at a time?

When we were kids our baskets were ours and if we wanted to stuff our face and eat it all in one day that was fine. With 4 of us there was usually one who saved it and ate it slowly just to taunt the kids who ate theirs in the first day or two.

Our kids' baskets won't have a ton of candy so I'm thinking I might talk Shane into letting them go at it for awhile but we don't allow candy in bedrooms so at some point it will have to get put up.

We let them eat a bunch on Easter day but then I take it away and bribe them with it.

We'll be at my MIL so I might just let them go crazy with it this year Usually it is only 2-3 pieces of candy and then breakfast. Then more later.

I am going to get them new bikes. Logan has outgorwn his and I am sending the old one's to Ed's so they have one at home and one at his house

Easter they just go at it all day long. Then they can pretty much have their candy at appropriate times.
