1 Marrying DH
2 knowing that we with Hannah were now a family
3 Proving Dh's aunts wrong who said we would never get married

1. Marrying DH after 8 years of waiting.
2. The decorations were exactly what I wanted.
3. There were no family fights.

1. Marrying my best friend. (really... he is.... with all the ups and downs... )
2. Getting all the family and our closest friends together
3. Being able to have the nieces and nephews in the wedding w/o a hitch. (They were GREAT!)

Being with only my close family and friends(we only had 25 ppl)
Having my family and friends with us and knowing they were the ones that will always love us.

marrying dh
having so many of our friends and family attend the church service (this was mor eimportant to us than the reception)
no problems at the recption--rain held off until after we took pictures

His grandma got to see us get married
the church was perfect. It was just what I always wanted.

matt, austin and I finally becoming a 'family'
everything went smoothly/everyone was happy
so many people come to celebrate us, and were so happy for us

Well I think that marrying your DH should be a given

soooooo
-being able to get all dressed up and have the day be about us
-having all our close friends/coworkers and family there with us to celebrate
-still being talked about to this day for having a DQ machine at the reception (we even have had calls from people who want to know if they can "rent one" for their wedding )

1. marrying my high school sweetheart when some teachers thought we were and would never last. to them! LOL

2. seeing members of my family from out of town that I had not seen in a long time.

3. opening presents!

Seriously, it is hard for me to find anything really wonderful in the day besides marrying Johnny. I was rushed in the morning because I had to go to the mall to pick up napkins that had been printed up wrong THREE TIMES, did my own hair and makeup AND picked up some of my bridesmaids. The photographer stunk, no one lit our unity candles or had matches to light them so during the wedding Johnny and I knelt together in front of the alter and giggled (ok, that might be one of my three-it was hilarious!LOL!), the cake was wrong and we had no real reception (my choice-we chose new furniture from my dad instead) so to me my wedding was not the 'norm' but in the end all that mattered to me was marrying Johnny Ray.
