There have been a few posts about this in the Tech board, but I'm still getting questions about it, so I'm going to post another announcement about it.
In an effort to prevent hackers from breaking into our server, a security script has been installed that identifies key phrases/symbols used to launch server attacks. If it sees any of these items, it will NOT allow a post to go through.
I've asked for a list of these items, but until then, the only word that I am certain of is "curl". There also may be some issues with using a colon in certain circumstances, but I can't confirm that.
If you have a post that won't go through (sends you to an error page), then first make sure you aren't using the word "curl". If so, remove it or change it to "curls". If that's not the case, then remove any colons that you have in your post. There may be some issues with smilies since most contain colons, but I have not confirmed that yet.
If I receive a list of forbidden words/symbols, then I will post them for you.
