I agree, Karen. The trick is knowing when to do each!

So true!

I agree with you, Karen.

I also agree with Karen. Honesty is good, but sometimes people tend to throw an attitude in with it along with being opinionated and I can't stand that.

The truth is that I think people talk a good game when it comes to honesty, but a lot of them cannot handle the truth. I tend to be very honest, and if I can't be honest, then I just don't say anything. Most people who know me well know that I am going to be honest and not just say whatever it is that they want to hear. If they cannot handle the truth, then they don't ask me.

In the end, honesty is always the best poilcy. But honesty should never be used as a means to hurt or ridicule a person. If honesty comes from the heart .. it is best.

That's so true.

In most cases yes. I pretty much agree with what you guys are saying.

Have to agree with Karen.
Usually yes, because I think as human beings we will in one way or the other express our feelings / opinions in one way or the other.

It seems like, in certain situations, good people get penalized for being honest and/or telling the truth. I always try to tell the truth to the best of my ability, but I freely admit to finding it difficult to tell "the whole truth"; it has too often been formed into a club and been used to beat me over the head.

Man....I better see the doctor about increasing my anti-depressants, eh?

Oh, BTW, some at the boys' school called CPS on us yesterday because Brian's shirt smelled "sour".
