Mixed emotions

Sometimes I don't know what I want anymore in regards to TTC. I want a baby but on the other hand my age and the length I've been trying is getting to me. I see my new dr today.

I'm almost 36 years and have been trying for 5 years. It sucks.

From what you've said, I don't think your old dr was looking into all the options. I hope this new one is much better.

i hope that the new dr. will help you find some answers!!

I keep praying for you Cheryl, you'd be such a wonderful mother. I hope this new doctor is more aggressive in looking for options.

If having a baby is what you want then keep trying. Age is nothing but a number.

I agree! I hope this new doctor can be more aggressive for you, Cheryl and give you the baby that you and Steve want.

Given the fact that you are over 30 and have not had success in conceiving in over six months, your former doctor should have been doing a lot more. When Clomid didn't work the first couple of times, he should have moved on. I hope this doctor is better.

I hope your apt goes well today and you get some more options.

I would look into your options with the new doc before you make up your mind.

Seeing all those baby pics on my new dr's wall at the office put some motivation back into me. Since the clomid made me ovulate a couple of months ago we are going to stick with the Clomid for now.

I know when I went to my fertility doctor that is what gave me hope too, Cheryl. Good luck! He seems to be more aggressive so far than your last doctor.

I agree. If this is what you want, then go for it. Give your new OB a chance, but stay on his butt to keep moving forward in your TTC journey. I'm 35 and just had my 2nd... he's perfect. You can do it too. Age is just a number, don't let it get you down. Stay healthy and work closely with your OB. Good luck!

Thanks girls.

Is he an OB/GYN with an emphasis on fertility or a RE?

He is an obgyn with emphasis on fertility. I'm not sure if I want to go the RE route again.

I've been taking my temps in the morning like he wants me to. So far I've only been doing it for 3 days this cycle and have had 96.5, 97.0, and 97.0 again. I'm on CD 8 with 2 more clomid pills to take.
