Does your child wear a helmet when riding a bike, a scooter, skating, etc.?

How about knee pads and elbow pads?

yes she wears a helmut when riding her bike. She has knee pads and elbow ones too and wears them occassionally

My boys only wear helmets when doing stunts on the skateboards or bikes. Just to ride around the neighborhood I let them go without because they really don't like them (they're hot)

I don't let my kids ride their bikes without helmets but they only wore the knee and elbow pads when they were learning to skate board.

This is the reason my kids alwys wear helmet on anything with wheels or they walk Rick may have forgotten but his father and I never will.

Ricky tried to take on a moving car and lost

My kids wear all the protection. Funny how we never though about it as kids, but now we wouldn't let our children with out.

I'll make them wear a helmet but for bike riding, elbow and knee pads won't be necessary.

We are planning to get Zach his first tricycle AND helmet for his birthday in July. Shari, isn't it a law in CT?

yes, Ryan wears a helmet for ice skating, roller skating, bike riding, etc - We havent forced elbow and knee pads for the bike but we should - I think I will talk to Scott about that tonight - other than that he always wears the pads too

My dd can't reach the pedals on her tricycle yet. She has a helmet for when she can.

I just got Isaiah a helmet today! They didn't have any boy ones so I had to get him either a hot pink one or a Dora The Explorer one. I chose Dora since he does watch the show! It's red too so it's not so bad. I got him a baby seat for the bike. Now I just have to figure out how to put it on the bike. This should be interesting. I'm excited to be able to ride bike again!

Helmet - yes. Pads, no. Amazingly, my kids are about the only ones in the neighborhood that wear them, even though it's NC law.

They don't have bikes, yet, but do have a small trycicle made for their age. THey do not wear a helmet because when we bought the bikes we were told that they didn't make helmets small enough to fit them.
They do ride in the driveway without a helmet.
I'm glad you posted this because I will see if the helmets fit them now since they are older.

rhyne has a helmet, but doesn't wear it. No knee pads or anything else.

There's no riding anything without an helmet... As for knee/elbow pads we don't have any of those.
