I teach my pre-schoolers the days of the week by singing a song to the tune of "The Adams Family"

Days of the week
(snap, snap)
Days of the week
(snap, snap)
There's Sunday and there's Monday
There's Tuesday and there's Wednesday
There's Thursday and there's Friday
And then there's Saturday
Days of the week
(snap, snap)
Days of the week
(snap, snap)

Just keep repeating a couple of times

She knows what they are but not what order they come in. and she knows what days she has things.

Funny you should ask that.
Today a girl at nusery school said "Bye Kyler. See you Wed."
I was REALLY impressed.

SOMEDAYs Kyler came name 1/2 the days in order... sometimes not at all. We have to work on that.

I got that song off of a CD by Dr. Jean. She has some wonderful songs that really help learning things such as Days of the week, months of the year, beginning sounds of letters etc. I LOVE her CDs and they help a lot!!
