Jonathan loves the B-I-N-G-O song. We always thought it was because he liked dogs. But then, when we started realizing how much he liked letters and spelling, we thought maybe that was the reason. He will sing BINGO in the middle of the night if he wakes up. We have a Disney sing-along video where they do P-O-N-G-O. He will sing it very clearly, which is great because we don’t understand so much of what he says.
I will sing to him sometimes and say “There isa boy that Mommy loves, and Jonathan is his name-o.” (I have to do the letters really fast, but he loves it and thinks it’s funny for me to talk so fast.)
Well, while we were in Texas, my mom was tying to tell him that her dog’s name was Abby. So, she taught him “There was a Nana who had a dog and Abby was her name-o. ABBY, ABBY, etc.” Well, that worked out pretty good.
We couldn't get him to say Nana while we were there, and finally the last two days we were there, he finally started calling her Nana. So, she taught him “There was a Jon who had a grandma and Nana was her name-o.”
Poor kid was so confused that the last day we were they, w were eating breakfast and he started singing:
“There was a farmer had a dog and Nana was her name-o…”
Oh well…
