My dr's office called and said everything came back normal. (So, I have no idea if that means I still have PCOS or what?!?! I'll be seeing the dr on May 22 so I guess I'll find out what that means then).

Cheryl,
I don't think I have ever seen you post before, but your post caught my attention. You have PCOS? Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?? I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 15 (I'm 21 now and pregnant with my first!!) PCOS never goes away, it is a lifelong problem. It can be controlled with meds and things, but it can't be cured. I know a lot about PCOS and have done a lot of studying about the syndrome itself, the symptoms, and the affects. If you do have PCOS and need someone to talk to about it, ask questions, or just want to get to know me, feel free to send me a private message. I'll be happy to help you in any way that I can. Take care of yourself, and good luck TTC!!!

Yep...I've studied PCOS for 5 years now. It's just wierd that they said everything looked normal. When you have PCOS..NOTHING is normal. I wasn't really asking..just commenting. I know it never really goes away.

Cheryl,
I am happy to know you have studied up on PCOS. When I was diagnosed, I was given a magazine article and sent on my way I had no idea what exactly I was dealing with, I just knew that the article was before there was a whole lot known about PCOS. My hormone levels and things were checked also after being on Glucophage and I was also in the normal range. A few months later, I was pregnant. Ovulation is hard to clock with PCOS because even on medication, cycles may not always be regular. My cycle staggered down to 30 days, and that was just for one month. My LMP was November 12, and I didn't have a period in December. I kept testing and testing and kept getting --- on the hpt. I didn't actually conceive until December 22, that is from my EDD. I was on Glucophage therapy for about 6 months, and only on the 3 a day for 3 months. I was not on clomid or any other meds, just the Glucophage. I also wonder if the colposcopy with cervical biopsy I had done on Nov 9 may have had a hand in our success?? I'm not sure, but there is hope for you...just don't let yourself get too down about it. Good luck and take care.
