What do you do to celebrate the person you call mom?

This year, I am getting my mom Godiva Sugar free chocolate (she's diabetic) and flowers. We're all going to lunch together the day before for my graduation, so we decided not to eat out 2 days in a row. Maybe we'll go over and bbq.

I don't do a thing for my MIL. But y'all know how I feel about the inlaws. But ya know, Billy doesn't even send a card, I think that's crappy.

We took my Mom out for brunch with us. MIL got a card.

I do the same for both of them, and this year I was thinking about doing some gift bags with a few small things. A new nightgown, slippers, a candle, and I don't know waht else.

We usually have my mom and MIL over for a BBQ and we usually get them a little gift. Usually the same thing. This year I am not sure what to get them

flowers for MIL from matt and the boys..
next year she will get a mothers ring

my Mom.. well ya'll know.. but I think I'm going to get a balloon and have austin let it go to 'heaven' for her again..

I'll send my Grandma flowers, and a card, and probably go pick her up and take her to lunch

Last year I did a picture of the girls and their handprints. It went over HUGE!

I have no idea what I'm gonna do this year. Still trying to figure it out.

My mom wants me to take her out for dinner. I usually just get a card and call her but we're living here now so I think she deserves dinner.

If the dr will let us, I'm hoping my bro and sil will let my mom go home for a couple of hours on Mother's Day. If not, then Steve and I will probably end up taking her some flowers and between me and my sil maybe we can bring some food in and have a nice meal with her and dad.

We'll figure something out.

We got to my parents for lunch on Mothers Day and I get my mom some kind of gift. (I'll probably take her out to lunch sometime. She has everything and loves going out to eat)

We visit my MIL after we get done at my parents and I will be giving her an 8 X 10 picture of her daugther (who passed away three years ago) and Darien when he had his first haircut. I found the picture a couple of months ago on my computer and thought it would be a nice gift.

Robyn that was beautiful for your mom... Do you tie a note to it too?

My MIL and I will go to church with the kids and then we will go to the zoo with the kids and then probably BBQ. I love mothers day.

Unfortunately for my mom she will get nothing and be invited to nothing. I think we will get MIL a statue of St. Joseph to go with the Mary one I got her for Christmas.

DH bought MIL a card last week. I'm usually the gift person. I said I was gonna get my mom a web cam this year, but DH doesn't think her computer (well, internet service) will support one. So, I don't know. not sure about MIL's gift.

MIL - I'm working on a desk scrapbook for her desk at work. Only my printer up and died just five pages from the end.
