So how long did you really wait?

Not that I'm considering sex at 6 days postpartum but I was wondering if anyone really waited the full 6 weeks that is recomended?

With my 1st I did and it still killed me..with Collin it was pretty close to it and with Allec it was like 3 weeks I think?!

After the twins it was 6 weeks, I'd had a c-section tho so we were much more careful of my stomach than anything else

After Greg, no way did I wait 6 weeks, I think it was closer to 2 years

I just had my first on April 2. I go to the doc and Monday and have waited. But I'm still a little sore and just not ready for that yet.

I waited the full time with Lauren and will with Ryan too. I had major tearing w/Lauren and some with Ryan.

6 months with Hannah I tore so bad I was scared to even wipe hard and With Will we waited just a few hours after we got home from the hospital. I didnt have tearing or stiches with him.

I couldn't even wait for 2 weeks with Trey. I think it was the whole I can't have it so it makes you want it more. I was embarressed when I had to take pregnancy tests with both on my 6 week check up.

I waited LONGER than the 6 weeks .... though with Aidan I felt good enough the next day ... (however ... I don't know how anyone manages with newborns and no sleep!)

I think after Desiree it was 7 weeks, I had an area that would bleed of and one. With Moses it was about 7 weeks also. Since I had the section it was not as painful. It the whole reason for waiting just to heal down there or for our bones and everything to go back to normal?

Hmm...I can't remember. I know it wasn't the full 6 wks but we also didn't go at it like crazy because we were just plain exhausted from running to the NICU all day, every day. But I also knew he was leaving on deployment so....

With Kel, I honestly cannot remember.

With Austin i dont remember, I know it was awhile. But with Connor, the day of my 6 week appointment we were good to go!

I waited the full six weeks maybe even alittle longer. Trust me after having a baby come out of you the last thing I wanted was something back up in there.
