Playard Bassinet?

Thread Starter
My mother-in-law gave us her sister's Eddie Bauer playard to use for Sprout (yes, we call the kid Sprout for now) and it has a changing table attath=chment and a bassinet attachment. Can we use this instead of a regular bassinet for the first few months in our room? The warnings on the product say to only use under supervision...will us being in the same room be enough? I would hate to buy another piece of furniture if we can just use this. Any input would be great...

Thanks

I had one with Logan and I used it at night, well when he WOULD sleep without me next to him.

We had one and we used it for naps downstairs. He did sleep in a crib at night, but he slept in the pack N play in the bassinet for a couple of months for naps and stuff during the day.

I had an older model and it didn't have a basinett attachment. I'm sure you could use it at night though.

I used mine for Liv during naptime. this time around with Sophie, I find it makes a GREAT clothes hamper. lol

It should be fine for you to do that, just make sure there aren't any extra blankets or pillows in it.
