Friend of mine has to host the Bridal shower...

My girlfriend Chris told me last night that her daughter the bride told her mom that she wants her bridal shower on June 10th and she wants a beach theme.

Since we are being laid off this week she wont have alot of money.

Ladies please put on those thinking caps and help me come up with inexpensive ideas for her for a beach theme bridal shower.

1. I told her to hold it at like 2 pm so she can get away with just appatizers.

Or use sand pales as centerpieces. Fill with water and use beach themed floating candles or have real flowers floating in the water. This site has flip flop floating candles

Or go to Walmart and buy globes(1.88 each) and put a bit of sand in the bottom with some shells or starfish(I believe you can get these at Michaels or Pat Catans)

For appetizers she could serve fruit and veggie trays and maybe make a tropical punch. If they aren't too expensive maybe have some spinach wraps (I'm not sure of their exact name).

I like Wendy's decorating ideas.
