First of all, Shane's mom has really come around. I don't think she is involved with Brenna as much as she would be if we weren't getting ready to move but she has come over to see her 3 times since she was born and has taken pictures and asked for pictures. His dad on the other hand still hsn't seen her and probably won't. Once again, I don't know who he thinks he is punishing by not seeing her but his reason for it isn't so much that he doesn't want to get attached to her when she is leaving but is actually because Shane has refused to convince or make me stay in Ohio with her. 
I'm so confused by this one. I'm not sure what he thinks he can accomplish by being pissed off and refusing to see her. It all just seems silly and stubborn to me.
While I did offer to do everything I could to stay at one point, I have realized that I can't and it wouldn't be healthy for me and Shane agrees. I'm grateful that he isn't pushing for it and I prefer to look at it as him trying to give me back some of what I've lost by moving here instead of him not wanting us around. My oppinion on that switches back and forth though.

I know all this will be hard on you, but I have to think it will be easier to be home with friends and family than stuck up there with people that obviously have a very warped sense of family life.
