Still having stomach problems, what the????

Hey ladies

This is about the same old problem I had a few weeks ago so if you have a weak stomach, get out NOW

If you remember I had constant severe diarreah every 15 minutes or so for a few days. It turned out to be some sort of bacterial infection normally picked up while visiting India or Asia. I'm assuming bc my resistance was low (from being in hospital, sick, dead, that kind of thing) that I probably picked it up from someone who was infected handing me money (Wash your hands after going to the bathroom people, it's not that darn hard to do!!!!!!!).

Anyway I got given a 7 day (x3)course of Flagyl (antibiotic) and after a couple of days things settled down nicely. However it keeps coming back!!!!. It hits very suddenly, I'll start with a stomach ache and within 15 minutes I'm in the bathroom. It will sometimes last for an hour (and I'll be in the bathroom 4-5 times in that hour) and then I'm fine and sometimes (like the last 48 hours) it will last for days.

Two questions:

1: Is it likely it is the same bacteria causing the problem??

2: How the heck can it stop and start like this shouldn't I either have an infection and spend all day everyday in the bathroom or not have an infection and be fine all the time?

How can it be really really bad for an hour (or a day or two) and then just stop again

Des wants me to go and see the dr again oh yeah thats a good idea, I'll spend another $60 to have them not fix me again, oh what a great idea that is. Jeez how many times do I have to go to a dr, pay them a fortune, wait for an hour and a half and then have them completely screw up (or kill me with their ''expert'' advice) before Des realises these guys:

A: Don't give a damn about people
B: Are totally imcompetent
C: Are laughing all the way to the bank on the money that stupid, trusting fools give them

I have to go and see these d!ck heads bc I cannot get my Insulan from anybody else, but I sure as H3ll do not have to trust them or believe a damn word they say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had IBS since I was a child (diagnosed at 22) that I've learned to live with, I'm pretty sure that all the bacteria wasn't killed last time I just can't figure out why it comes and goes

Either I'm a Bacteria Hilton (5 star of course) or I'm not, I will probably have to go and see the numb nuts at the med centre to get another prescription for more antibiotics', just once it would be nice if they got it right the first time (hell if they got it right on the 3rd visit it would be a vast improvement)

I agree - call the dr... I had this problem for YEARS - I finally met the gastroenterologist who found it for me -
