I tried this a few times, and used the cream under nursing pads (also by lansinoh) but it felt like the stuff got everywhere, I had to keep re-applying because it rubbed off on my bras and...
I LOVE THIS BOOK! I could say to Alice (17 months) "Where's the duck?" And she could point him out on the page. And "Where's the cow?" "Where's the cat?" Etc. And we can do the animal sounds,...
We really liked this book, though a couple of the pictures are a little freaky. But it kept Alice's attention! (The only reason we borrowed it was because Alice's name is Alice...) And I got a...
Kept my daughter's attention through the whole book! And that's a big deal for a 17 month old! She loved the bright, vivid pictures and I think she was listening to the story. Kinda.
We LOVE David Shannon in this house. This book was cute. I'd ask Alice (17 months) "Where's the doggy?" on each page, and she could point him out. And we talked about what a doggy says...
I'm claustrophobic and also terrified of dead bodies... My worst fear (and I've had nightmares about it) would be waking up not dead in a morgue's freezer with other really dead people.
Tammy reminded me that I HATE subways... especially the big one in DC where you go down that 5 mile long escalator and then under the water. Just knowing that we are going under the water terrifies me.
Strangly enough, the Ocean terrifies me.
I didn't realize it until I went on a cruise last year and out in the middle of NOWHERE I realized that there was a whole world, a whole life under that water that was probably VERY scary. THe sharks, and weird sea creatures that haven't even been discovered yet, ya know? Oh it gives me the shivvers!
I'm also very scared of skunks.. and creepy crawly things as well. I'm a really big chicken.
WATER! Snakes, heights, closed in spaces, THE DENTIST! Losing my children (have nightmares about this one), tornadoes .... the list probably goes on, but these immediately come to mind.
Oh yeah, Brittany, I am afraid of the dark, too. I just didn't think about it when I first posted.
And losing Emily (and the new baby, too, when he comes). The list is longer than I originally thought.
I thought I was the only one that actually had nightmares about losing my children.
That is something that horrifies me, I cannot think about my children being gone without crying.
Matt's company did AV for a confrence a couple weeks ago that was for Funeral Directors, and him telling me that they had childrens caskets completely made me bawl.. it's something couldn't fathom..

oh, I forgot about driving over water...I am always afraid the bridges will collapse and I'll drown!!! Man, we drove across the mississippi once and I just about had a conniption fit!
Farries Wheels, dream of this too, I am sitting on ferries wheel seat with my Dad and my Step Dad David and they are rocking the sit and we are at the top and I fall out because of them rocking the seat. Will not get on a regular Ferries Wheel to this day.
Bats, and mice to fast for me, give me the hibby jebbs.
Really large bugs. large snakes, large carnivourous man-eating animals, being seriously injured, being the victim of a violent crime, Teletubbies - just kidding!
Heights, but not roller coasters, all creepy crawly bugs, losing Kayla, losing DH, driving over bridges, the dark, tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, Ferris Wheels.
ok this will sound silly...Death. Anything that leads to it gives me the eebie jeebies so I just concluded I am afraid of Death (mine, Dh's, family members...you know the drill)
