When did you start giving your baby juices...it was hot here yesterday and I know Ethann sweated a lot and diapers haven't been that wet. Right now I'm giving him his Kayro sryup in just water instead of his formula to get more liquid into him...he already had his formula about 2 hours ago, so i haven't stopped that.

I think I would give him some Pedialyte before I gave him actual Juice.

I don't think I gave my boys juice until they were about 4+ months old..

My kids didn't get juice until they were at least 6 months. Why are you giving him Kayro syrup? He's awfully young for anything besides formula or breast feeding... JMO...

We used to mix prune juice into Emily's bottles when she was a few months old because she would get constipated. BUT, as for fruit juice, she was around 7 months old and I always diluted it. Still do.

We did prune juice like Tammy said for Zach b/c he was constipated but that was on top of his normal breastfeeding. He didn't have juice until he was much older. And it was about 60% water 40% juice. That's still how we do it now and he's almost 2--sometimes even less juice.

The kayro syrup loosens his stools they have been hard and you tell hurting him so the doctor suggested trying that first and it seems to be working. I did give a little water today and it helped him.

I gave Kiera a little juice here and there around 6 months old I think. But she didn't like it that much. She has just recently started to really like juice.

I would stick to formula only for now. There is plenty of water in that.

One thing Lauren and Ryan's Ped had us do when Lauren was so constipated was to give 2oz of water w/1tsp of sugar (sugar water). It helped get the water into her. Our pediatric gi had us give her 50/50 apple juice or prune juice and water when she was on Carafate (causes TERRIBLE constipation). She was 2+ months then. That's just what our Drs recommended. I'd check w/your own ped to see what is recommended.
