If you were to name your daughter after a woman in history, who would you choose? Why?

Well...the names way back then were goofy, but if I did have to choose one, it would be after Mother Theresea. She did a lot for the world and was pure at heart.

I'm kind of tired of the name Elizabeth (no offense anyone with a dd named Elizabeth) and I didn't care a whole lot for my Aunt Beth, but Elizabeth the First of England is one who comes to mind. Also, Margret Thatcher the famous woman British Prime Minister. There is also Catherine the Great of Russia that I have a lot of respect for. Wait, Caitlyn is Catherine in Welsh. My dd is a Kate the Great.

Because they were powerful, fierce, independant and extremelly strong women. They were also intellegent, clever and just right quick on their mental feet with all those men around who would have killed them for their job (not in the case of the PM, but the Queen and Czaress - certainlly.)
