Ethan got his 2 month shots on Monday morning (the series of 4) he was pretty good Monday, Monday night a slight little fever. Tuesday a little fussy, Yesterday awake almost all day (not usually like him) and fussy. Now today is just screaming even if I'm holding him. Tuesday and yesterday I gave him Tylnol thinking he was sore. Could that still be him problem today? Should it last that long? I just don't know what to do and I hate to me one of those moms that calls the doctor's office all the time with silly things.

It is not silly. Call them Ethan might have a reaction. I cant remember with my two. I would give tylenol today too.

If you are allowed to give him Motrin at that age I would give it instead of Tylenol. It helps more with the swelling and has always helped my children with pain more then the tylenol does. And yes, the pain can last for a week or more.

I would call the dr too. Better safe than sorry. Poor baby!

On top of those medications, I would give him some gas drops. Medicine reacts differently for every person, adult or child. May have given him a little gas. Or.. the shots could have been fine and he is just having some tummy trouble.

Poor guy. I would check with the dr. They are used to us moms calling. Better to be safe. My kids never had much of a reaction, so I don't know what the symptons would be if they did. I hope he feels better soon. Although I bet some of the screaming is due to be tired if he hasn't been napping.
