Ok--not really that old, but...
There are a couple of people that DH works with who just got married last week. I knew we were invited to the wedding, but we knew ahead of time that we weren't going to get to go. Anyhow. DH brought in the invitation yesterday and said "We need to buy something for them." I asked if they were registered anywhere and he said he didn't know. Then he said "Probably not. She's in her 50's and he's in his 60's, so what would they register for?" Um... Point taken. (I thought they were in their 30's until he told me that.) I am pretty sure it's a second marriage for both. At least one of them was widowed.
What do you get for a couple that's a little older and already established?

I ended up getting this decorative pedestal pillar candle holder thing with decorative stones or something that they wanted. It was on the registry, it wasn't really "household", and it looked nice. So, hopefully they'll like it.
