got pregnant or know someone who got pregnant in the months after delivering without ever having a period?

I'm trying to decide how important bc is right now. Not that I'm having any sex but you want to be prepared.

I know two girls/ladies (one was only 16) that each had two babies only 9-10 months apart. Angela and Brandon are only 13 months apart; if I had a period between them it was only one.

I know of 2 people (which is alot in my book) because one of them didnt even wait the 6 weeks. I would say BC is important, even if you DID want a nother baby right away you prob need some time for your body to heal, at least a few months

My sister and brother are not even a year apart. They are the same age for like 3 days. I've heard of people going for there 6 weeks check up only to find out they are pregnant again.

My SIL had two babies in one year. My niece was born in March, then she got pregnant before she had a period, which made it hard for them to predict her due date. My nephew was born prematurely on Dec 7, so he and his sister are the same age for three months out of the year.

ok.. see..I had a HUGE argument with a nurse over this. Duncan and Logan are 12 months 20 days and 7 minutes apart. And Logan was born one week before his due date. When I went into WIC for my pregnancy wic.. stuff. She said.. "when was your last period?" I said.. Before Duncan. She said.. that's not possible. You can't get pregnant without having a period. Well.. I did. I didn't have a period between having Duncan and getting pregnant with Logan. So, I would say that birth control is VERY important right now. Oh.. um.. yeah I WAS ON BIRTH CONTROL!! So.. Guess I'm not much help here.

I would definitely be prepared unless you want another one. My two sisters and I are all a year apart.

I know MIL's cousin had two kids in one year because of that. I wouldn't risk it.

My girlfriend Joyce she had Elizabeth in February (late feb) and then she had Grace in early December. Yes it is possible. If you are a fertile Mertyl then I would get protection. Meagan used to say that she could walk down the same hall with Court and get pregnant. I think you should maybe pick something up.
