Great way to encourage children...

I read this little article on a great way to praise a child for something great they did as in good grades or great help to a parent or something extra special that made you proud.

Go out and buy a bright colored plate for dinner (something different from your pattern)

Maybe there is a way you can write on it like in permanant marker "You are Special".

Make a big deal of this plate and when you sit down to dinner have everyone around the table compliment the person who got to use the special plate.

What an awesome way to encourage your children

Oh that IS cool! We picked up some cheap neon colored plastic plates at Walmart for like $1 each. I think those would be perfect! Now ... to find the Sharpie!
