from a blind date I'm supposed to go out with. I was kind of excited about it and looking forward to some adult interaction (because I'm not interested in a relationship in the least) but then Shane emailed me this afternoon and I started feeling depressed. I'm worried now that I'll be thinking of Shane and feeling guilty all evening and will be a dud date for this other guy.

Did Shane ask you to come back? Is he feeling sorry for letting you go? If not go on your blind date and dont think twice about him.

Be happy you are out with adults and no kids. Have a drink for yourself too!

No, and no... he didn't.

But anyway this guy's car broke down and unless I want to go over there and "hang out" (no thank you) than I'm not going out tonight. We talked on the phone for about 40 mins though and he seemed nice.
