Buying school supplies/clothes yet?

While I was talking to Annie today, she said that the parents in her area are already stocking up on school clothes. How about you? Have you started your back to school shopping yet?

we started buying Jacob's school clothes... got him 2 pairs of jeans yesterday at Walmart on clearance........ my best deal ... a pair of Levis with adjustable waist for $5!! we're planning on doing a little bit more later this weekend!

We homeschool and have purchased all of our curriculum for next year. But for regular school supplies, I wait for the tax free weekend that NC has the first of August and everyone has massive school supply sales. For clothes, there is a huge consignment sale that I go to in August as well.

I probably wont "clothes shop" til September if I get anything for her ALOT of her clothes from last year still fit her. As far as supplies I am waiting for her "list" we'll get when we register her in early August.

I have been picking things up here and there as they are on sale. I just hit up Gymboree for their $3.99/$6.99 sales and got stuff for all the kids.

For clothes I am hoping to take part in our tax free days in August, we need clothes for Ryan for sure. He needs ALOT.

For supplies, I dont know whats required for kindergarten yet - but I think we may do some special supply shopping this month to get him started.

I hds' supply lists already and carry them in my purse in case someone's got something we need on sale. As for clothes, it looks like Brandon's will still fit him. We have a ton of shirts for the girls that we bought a couple weeks ago. We're waiting until closer to the beginning of school to get their jeans and skirts. As for underthings, we are working on it slowly. Got each of the girls a bra and panty set on clearance just this past weekend.

I found a great sale at the Childrens place outlet a few weeks ago. Polo's for $1.99. I got a ton of them for the boys for school. I found Devon some pants at Target on sale($4.94), so I got him 4 of those. I still have a long way to go, but it's a start.

Not sure about clothes. But I noticed that the Wal-Mart ad for cheap school supplies was in the mail yesterday. The sale starts on Sunday.
