Pre-Pregnancy Weight vs. Pre-Pregnancy Body

There is a difference. I think people confuse the two....including me.

I lost all of my baby weight with Aidan, and I am below my pre-pregnancy weight by about 5 lbs.... I finally had Scott get my 'pre-pregnancy' clothes out of storage and was excited to weart them again. Even though I am 5lbs less than I was when I used to wear there, barely ANY of them fit. Right now I am wearing a pair of SKIN tight jeans that barely buttoned in hopes to stretch them out a little!!!

It's my legs and my hips. The jeans are SKIN tight on my legs... and even though my stomach is flat I can barely buttong the pants because my hip bones are still spread!!! I also noticed I wore a pair of shorts yesterday, which 'fit' if you consider fitting wearing them about 3 inches ABOVE my hips and over my belly button... they used to sit low and now I looked like an old lady wearing my pants up the my chest!!

Losing all of the baby weight isn't everything it's made out to be

How has YOUR body changed since having kids??

I had always had a flat stomach, even when I was over weight. I sure don't now!! I am hoping after losing the weight I want to, 60 lbs, bringing me down to 115/120, that my old stuff will fit again.

Well my biggest thing is that I will always have the extra loose jiggly skin all around my stomach that keeps me from ever having the flat stomach look no matter how much weight I lose. Also, my weight isn't distributed the same way it was before I started having kids. Where it was all pretty even before, now I can get stick thin around my face, neck, wrists, and chest but my upper arms and thighs keep a bit of weight on.

Ya I haven't gotten down this time to my pre-pregnancy weight but last time I was only 5lbs away and I was no where back to pre-pregnancy body shape. My legs got bigger and I feel my back above by butt has more meat to it. This time around I have more meat on my upper stomach under my boobs. I tell you having kids is not easy on the body, even after the labor
