Should I be concerned...

I put Ryan down last night at 8:15. He was asleep by 9:00. This morning DH calls me and it was 9:30, Ryan still had not woke up. I told DH to get him up and feed him. I just talked to Brooke and she said when she got there at 12:00, he was asleep. He woke up at 12:30. She fed him and by 2:45 he had fallen asleep again.

Do I need to worry about that? I never had a baby who slept so well, so I don't know if he is getting sick, having a growth spurt or just sleeping normally.

Am I crazy for questioning it?

My guess would be that he was fighting off something. Does he seem sick otherwise?

Concerned .. nope, just jealous!

Honestly .. if he does it for more than a day or two .. then maybe you should be concerned .. but he is probably just fighting off something. Lord knows I feel like I am.

No. Yesterday during the day he didn't get his normal naps in because we were running around in the morning. But he did still get 2 naps for about an hour each. I am going to check his temp when I get home. He was still his smiley self though.

What is the normal sleeping pattern for almost 3 months?

Ok I found a chart that said 10 hours at night, 5 1/2 naps. 15 total.

Yesterday morning he woke up at 8:30. We ran errands so he didn't take his first nap until 1:30 ish. He was being stubborn and wouldn't fall asleep. We were up at 4:00. Then he napped for about 45-1 hour at around 6:00 or so. Fell asleep about 9. If DH woke him up at 9:30, then so far we are at 15 1/2 in 24 hours time. I guess that is normal. I am still going to check his temp when I get home, and see how he does tonight. But 12 1/2 hours at night, that is a little long....

He could be fighting off something and/or having a growth spurt. Emily always seemed to sleep a lot when she had one.

I'm way jealous! Enjoy it.

If it's abnormal for him I would just keep an extra eye out. Maybe he's growing? It's so hard to tell that little.

Like Tara mentioned it sounds like maybe a growth spert! Enjoy for now!

I say maybe a growth spirt going on. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yeah, he went to bed last night at about 8:30 or so and woke up at 7:15 this morning to eat. I know this, because I was still asleep !!
