Why are the kids always at fault?

I swear every little thing that happens around here is blamed on the kids. I've overheard my mother on more than one ocasion say "one of the kids must have done it". It is usually really silly things too like dusting my step father's keyboard, or moving a rug. It drives me nuts because this place was chaos before we ever showed up and now my kids just get to take the blame for it all.

ahh see at my inlaws its the grandkids can do no wrong. We dont hang out AT my parents enough for my children to cause trouble

When I lived with my Father after the divorce, Faith always got the blame, too. For everything. His computer got messed up and it must have been Faith that did it, even though she NEVER went on his computer. It used to #iss me off SO much.

My parents are like that too. And if they get sick??? Look out! It's a quest to figure out which kid infected them. I just don't get it.
